Goin' Fishin'

Goin' Fishin'

What an Awesome mid-day fishing expenditure! Braydon is very serious about his fishing and very generous with sharing his knowledge with the heart of a teacher. Behind these beautiful eyes is a survivor! Thank you, Michelle, for inviting me to spend time with ya'll! I will cherish it always.

Taylor ~ Senior 2011

Home Town Girls ~ What an afternoon! Taylor's Senior Casual session became an even more special afternoon when Grandmother Thames made a surprise visit! Not only was I excited about the session, but Mrs. Thames' visit made for a very special moment of a three generation portrait! Taylor's roots run deep in Simpson County, and I couldn't think of better representations of true Home Town Girls! And the location was perfect. South Main, beside the tracks, behind one of Mendenhall's oldest mercantile stores; MG&G, formerly Mendenhall Grocery and Grain.

Taylor is a really cool teenager, with a good head on her shoulders. She has natural beauty both inside and out. We discussed her plans for college and her future. She is smart, strong and has a sympathetic nature with the power of healing and comfort. It was truly an honor to spend the afternoon with such a young lady!

To her mom, Tricia, I can only imagine how proud you are of her. She has your strength, your wisdom, and your nature of kindness.

Congratulations, Taylor, on your Senior Year! I know all of your dreams are going to come true!

Coy ~ Senior 2011

My first guy Senior for the year! Coy, a Senior at Mendenhall High School, and Kicker on the Tiger Football Team, he is also the son of a high school classmate of mine! Time flies, folks!
We started out on a Saturday morning on Tiger Field. The rain and overcast was only a small inconvenience compared to the humidity! It wasn't long before we both tried to stop looking our best, and really got down to business with the camera catching his awesome kicking form and skills! Coy's personality was charming, goofy, and kept me in smiles for the rest of the day.
Thank you, Coy, for letting me be a part of your Senior year!
You are a true role model, and I know your parents are so proud!

Miss Devin Day Hart

What can I say about Devin Day....Well, I can tell you, she is one of the most kind hearted persons I have met!
Devin and I first met at a local gift and deli shop in downtown Mendenhall, MG&G. Devin's mom has a wonderfully delicious catering menu with great service! I highly recommend her for any event.
So, Devin and I were talkin' during lunch one afternoon at the Deli, and she mentioned she "took Dance". Since I had also taken dance lessons as a child, we found ourselves with something in common and well, one thing led to another and soon we had our first photo-shoot!
Devin's photos turned out great, and soon I would discover that EVERYONE loves Devin Day! She is such a positive role model for youth, and she is active in school and Church activities. She is definitely a leader, but has an humbleness to be admired.
Thank you, Devin, for the smiles and encouragement you give to others! Congratulations on your Senior Year!
Once again, always a fun day with Miss Devin Day Hart!

Look Who's Turning 2 !!

Fall is in the air, and it is, once again, time for Fall Family Portraits!!! My recent session with the Daughdrill family was not only a session, but an adventure!! Preslie, who will be turning 2 in a couple weeks, was to say the least, ADVENTUROUS!!! Her laughter, wonderment, and smiles were quite refreshing. From riding in the "Dora Car", to playing with Molly the family canine, each shutter release revealed the innocence of discovery. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the Daughdrill Family, and can't wait to see them again!
Happy 2nd Birthday, Preslie!
